SE TC C is Siemens Energy’s global customs department, responsible for ensuring customs compliance, implementing global customs security programs (, AEO, C-TPAT), and developing internal regulations and related corporate IT solutions. As its regulatory body, SE TC C FE brings legal customs expertise combined with an understanding of the relevant IT environment. Its role is to enable, support, and drive the implementation of the department’s customs solution strategy in the most digitalized and automated way possible.
How You’ll Make an Impact
10. You will analyze the customs core processes (such as import, export, classification, solicitation, origin, special customs procedures)
11. You will visualize processes and discuss these processes with other affected functions (based on the visualized processes)
12. That may be in digitalizing and automating manual processes in the best possible way or standardizing existing customs processes in such a way that the process meets global requirements and can be implemented with a standardized global trade management system.
13. You will implement requirements derived from the global or regional/national customs processes to the respective customs applications.
What You Bring
14. University degree ( in business administration or information management) or equivalent experience as customs expert
15. Long-term working experience in a customs environment and a good understanding of the core customs processes
16. You have an affinity in analyzing existing customs processes and within those processes finding and outlining potentials for improvement.
17. Understand the required foreign trade data and collaborate with the global trade management system.
18. You are fluent in English and ideally also feel comfortable in speaking German
