Geographic Information System Officer
About the Role
The Geographic Information System (GIS) Officer plays a pivotal role in developing, configuring and maintaining our GIS database. This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of GIS data by collecting plans and information from various sources.
This involves collaborating with stakeholders, including ESRI suppliers, surveyors, design offices and users to ensure seamless integration and effective communication.
The GIS Officer will conduct topographical surveys and produce infrastructure plans using AUTOCAD 2D. Additionally, they will verify the accuracy of 'as-built' documents during on-site checks.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a GIS Officer. If you have a degree in Geographic Information, Geography, Geomatics or equivalent experience, we want to hear from you.
Your expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and AUTOCAD will be invaluable in this role. With 5-8 years of experience in a similar position, you will bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to our team.
