What to expect:
- Research Focus: Conducting independent research projects focusing on the reproduc-tive biology of female mammals (ovary and uterus) as well as pubertal development in both sexes
- Methodology: Planning and conducting animal experiments (including livestock) in combination with modern laboratory analytical methods
- External Funding & Publications: Preparation of manuscripts for international peer-reviewed journals and successful acquisition of research funding (grant applications)
- Teaching: Academic supervision and guidance of students in the context of bachelor’s and master’s theses
What to bring:
- Masters and doctorate degrees in animal science, agricultural science, veterinary medicine, biology or comparable
- Knowledge of reproductive biology
- Practical experience with molecular/biochemical techniques
- Excellent publication record and initial experience in securing external funding
- Good command of English
- Knowledge of German is not essential, but we expect you to acquire a basic knowledge of the language
- Commitment and team spirit
