General Summary
We are expanding our team to support the organization in improving and developing state of the art transport structures, tools and processes to further grow in the European Market.

Essential Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the enhancement and maintenance of the Transport Management System (TMS)
* Defines, measures and improves Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all air, ocean, parcel and road service providers to minimize transit times and maximize cost reductions.
* Develops, analyses, and implements corporate transportation projects.
* Reviews the delivery quality of European freight carriers and sets up activities with local Henry Schein teams to improve the lead time quality. Organization and lead of quality improvement meetings with transport companies.
* Supports the budget process for freight and the global, corporate sustainability reporting and improvement.
* Improves and supports the Freight Audit Process in EMEA.
* Leads or participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
Desired Qualifications:
* Successful apprenticeship as a forwarding merchant or bachelor´s degree (or higher) in transportation or logistics
* 4-7 years of experience in Supply Chain environment. Helpful to have working knowledge of transportation, inventory management and information systems
* Experience in team environment - working collaboratively with internal and external partners
* Very good computer skills in Excel and preferable in SAP Business Warehouse
* Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
