What you will do in this role:
Core Responsibilities:
5. Trusted adviser and subject matter expert in mobile robotics both to clients and internal teams
6. Create compelling solutions for clients that drive their decision to select Dematic
7. Oversee designs of the most complex systems that integrate hardware and software
8. Create recommendations related to productivity improvement, schedule reduction, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfaction
9. Guide technical interchange and knowledge transfer for both processes and application of products to system design Engineers
10. Provide detailed new equipment and acceptance testing specifications
11. Thoroughly characterize and document the base line performance and capability of each system to maintain system performance to the documented base line
12. Assist technical writers in developing and maintaining effective operations and maintenance specifications
13. Execution and/or assistance on AMR Risk Assessments (RA)
14. Collaborate with Project Execution and R&D engineers for application of safety norms, proposing and/or reviewing solutions as needed

Basic Qualifications:
15. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
16. Basic knowledge of basic Directives and Standards:

26. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and performance integration-related applications
27. Passion for standards and rules with the skill to translate the requirements into clear instructions for your stakeholders
28. 3-5 years of mobile automation Application Engineering and Deployment experience
29. 5-10 years of automation hardware/software experience
30. You are fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications:
31. Master’s degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
32. Expert level understanding of the principles used in electronic/electrical systems, mobile robotic systems (onboard and offboard software), 2D and 3D vision systems, fixed transport systems, and data collection systems.
33. Strong "hands-on" capability in the installation and commissioning of mobile / robotic systems in a production environment
34. Ability to evaluate, test, and validate a comprehensive mobile automation software stack and associated electronic components
35. Proficient in creation of schematics using AutoCad EPlan
36. Having CMSE® and/or CECE® certificates
37. Knowledge of IBF “Safexpert”
38. BGIA SISTEMA
39. Knowledgeable in ANSI B56.5, ISO 3691-4:2020, and the other standards of the ISO 3691 series
40. Knowledgeable in the use of test equipment and calibration associated standards
41. Proficient with PLC programming (Rockwell or Siemens)
42. Excellent organizational, analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills; ability to maintain accurate and detailed records
