You will always keep an eye on new technologies and digital trends, evaluate their benefits for the administration and initiate ICT solutions relevant to the city as a whole - for example on topics such as SAP, Microsoft 365 or cloud services.Another focus of your work will be on setting up and developing the city's ICT architecture and designing a holistic data management system.You will take on the strategic management and controlling of the ICT budget, be responsible for the planning, maintenance and communication of the city's ICT portfolio and represent the department on relevant committees. You will also be responsible for managing external service providers - in particular ITK-Rheinland - as well as the quality assurance of contractual services (SLAs).In addition, you are the central point of contact for the department and office management as well as the responsible department in strategic and financial ICT issues.
