We are looking for a Head of Project Management to a replacement within Oras Group\'s Product Management team.
The purpose of the role is to build a high-reliability PMO that delivers Product, Technology, CAPEX projects faster, on scope, on schedule and on budget.
Responsibilities
* Own the Product/Technology/CAPEX roadmap (with SBU views); prepare Product Council/Steerco pack (including recommendations for project prioritization and trade-off options)
* Together with your project team deliver Product, Technology, CAPEX projects on scope, on schedule and on budget
* Lead, coach, and upskill the project management team
* Continuous improvement of our NPI/Stage-Gate and other related project management processes. This includes, but isn\'t limited to, the strong improvements in:
o Quality and therefore reliability of the project schedule planning
o Number of project delays (vs. project schedule plan)
o Reduction of overall project duration and TTM (time-to-market), also via use of agile models for development sprints and problem-solving
o Project resource planning and projects resource tracking
o Tracking of the project progress. Early warning and escalation system in case of risk to critical path
Details
The position reports to Chief Product Officer, Yura Biryukov, and is part of Oras Group Product Management (PM) management team. The location of this position is either in Rauma (Finland), Stuttgart (Germany) or Olesno (Poland). The role involves occasional travel.
Profil
* 10+ years of leading complex hardware projects
* Proven time-to-market reduction and on-time improvement in multi-site projects
* Proven usage of modern Methods & Tools: e.g. IPMA standards, Stage-Gate + Agile hybrid, PMI / PMBOK-based Project Management, Lean / Six Sigma, Enterprise PPM / PM Tools. AI-augmented PMO.
* Strong stakeholder leadership from C-suite to shopfloor; excellent facilitation/communication in multicultural environments
* Strong leadership qualities: a team player who can effectively guide and motivate team members
* Degree (engineering or business) extra qualifications in Project Management are a plus.
* Fluent English; German/Nordic/Polish language is a plus.
