On account of our client, a reputable private label cosmetics manufacturer based in Germany, we are looking to bring on a freelance profile to assist with a combined project with continuous improvement of internal Regulatory systems, and regulatory coordination on a regular basis (supplier compliance, registrations on a EU level)
Specialized in crafting high-quality cosmetics products for various brands EU wide, our client has a large inventory, and will require a consultant with a proven experience in the field of cosmetics registration, regulatory coordination, and centralised system implementation.
The applicant must be a fully bilingual German and English speaker.
Position Overview:
The position is a project-based freelance opportunity (with a projected duration of 6 months, and an indicative 2 days per week work time). The contract Regulatory Consultant will support all things regulatory in the business.
This role will notably be pivotal in implementing a centralized regulatory database and managing regulatory systems efficiently. The project is understood to be on a remote basis, with occasional site visits required in South East Germany.
Key Responsibilities:
* Regulatory Systems Management: Lead the implementation of a centralized regulatory database to streamline processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Data Organization: Organize and maintain regulatory documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for internal stakeholders.
* Compliance Monitoring: Monitor regulatory changes and updates, and implement necessary adjustments to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
* Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align regulatory efforts with business objectives and product development timelines.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in regulatory affairs within the cosmetics or related industries.
* Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and standards, particularly in the European market.
* Experience in implementing regulatory databases or similar systems is highly desirable.
* Full fluency in German (main language of work) and English
* Excellent organizational and project management skills.
* Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
