Your Job
What this role looks like.
* Dashboard Development: Design, implement, and maintain Tableau dashboards and visualizations within an agile team environment that will be used globally within the ALDI South group.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business units to understand their business problems and data needs to create innovative analytical solutions that drive informed decision making
* Customer centricity: Conduct requirements engineering, specifications refinement and feedback gathering. Iteratively improve dashboards with the help of usability testing and user research.
* Data Integration: Seamlessly integrate data from diverse sources including SAP BW, Alteryx, SQL databases and/or SAP Datasphere
* Performance Optimization: Conduct performance enhancements and troubleshoot issues to improve overall dashboard efficiency.
* Methodological Improvement: Establish and refine development practices and processes to enhance scalability, maintainability, and user satisfaction
* International Collaboration: Communicate fluently in English to work with our international teams.
Your Profile
What you bring with you.
* A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
* Experience in Business Intelligence: Background in requirement engineering, dashboard creation, and analytics projects.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to influence in a dynamic, cross-functional environment, driving results, managing complexity and dealing with ambiguity
* Proficiency in Tableau or similar self-service BI tools like Power BI or SAP Analytics Cloud.
* Strong ETL skills with hands-on experience in Alteryx or other lightweight ETL tools
* Excellent SQL knowledge with experience in data modeling for analytical applications
* Proven ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable visualizations.
* A hands-on mentality and exceptional problem-solving skills.
* Excellent command of English for effective communication.
Desirable extras.
* SAP Experience: Familiarity with SAP tools, particularly SAP BW, AfO, and SAP Queries.
* Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the retail sector or experience in financial controlling.
* Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication abilities and a proactive approach to networking.
