The Accounting, Cost & Fees EU team, part of the Banking Core Domain, is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Software Engineer to join our innovative team in Berlin, Germany. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, customized accounting solutions that meet complex client needs while fostering a productive team environment. Implement, test, and document new features for our Accounting Products
Customize and enhance our accounting platform while ensuring compliance with accounting principles and financial‑industry requirements
Proactively identify, document, and resolve defects, including ongoing maintenance and improvement of existing functionality
Work with SQL, PL/SQL, and Avaloq Script - Avaloq’s domain‑specific language for implementing business logic and core‑banking customizations
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience in PL/SQL development
Strong expertise in Oracle database systems and SQL
Proven ability to design and optimize complex SQL queries and develop efficient stored procedures
Java) is considered an advantage
Experience in banking software development - especially with Avaloq or an ACCP certification - is a strong advantage
Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
