Europe B2B Media Solutions is a Business Division within LG Electronics incorporating the business groups of Information Displays & Technology. The European Business Development and LED Department has as a mission to improve the penetration of LG B2B Information Display Solutions in strategic vertical markets by offering total solutions to local or international large end customers.
The European BDM for Hospitality will focus on developing the go-to-market strategy across the hospitality market, being responsible for sales growth and profitability, targeting directly existing and prospective new customers across Europe.
Roles & Responsibilities
Belonging to our Europe B2B Media Solutions Business Division (in charge of Information Display and Information Technology) and reporting to the European Enterprise Business Development Head, you will be responsible for developing and growing our business with international customers in the Hospitality sectors across Europe. This will involve working directly with our largest customers, proactively developing new customers, and supporting our national sales subsidiaries to execute strategy locally.
* Analyze, segment and target untapped areas of your assigned vertical market
* Define the ecosystem and the stakeholders of the target key accounts and develop activities to increase LG's presence in your market either directly or by vertical specialized system integrators or value added resellers
* Identify new demand in the assigned vertical sub-industries by key account management and vertical ecosystem partners’ networking
* Collaborate with the Information Display Europe organization to develop more attractive offerings to your assigned sub-verticals
* In case a solution adaptation is not possible, develop a customer offering based not only on the internal portfolio of LG, but also on external components and services with partnerships that can make LG's offering more competitive and more profitable
* Support and guide the country sales organizations to penetrate locally each sub-vertical by providing presentations, market data and trainings
* Define the activity plan to increase presence of LG in the industry events either directly or via partners
* Deliver weekly update on activity and opportunity forecast. Follow up on Business Plan and several execution targets
* Utilize the CRM system to keep track of the activities for the opportunities in which he/she works and provide transparent reporting to all internal stakeholders
* Collaborate with logistics and service department to follow up or develop processes in order to maintain a high service level and customer satisfaction during sales execution and after sales.
Required qualifications, skills and experience
* Bachelor in Business Administration Bachelor, Marketing or other related fields (MBA can be of added value)
* 3 to 5 years' business development / sales international experience in the Hospitality vertical, preferably in IT solutions or Hardware System Solutions with LED or Displays in functions of Business Development, Key Account Management, Pre-Sales
* Strategic acumen and ability to understand and adapt to the B2B ecosystem (VAR, SI and End Customer) in the Hospitality vertical
* Strong analytical skills to articulate complex issues and solutions with concrete actions and measurable results
* Leading personality able to inspire, engage and lead by example his local colleagues and his customers
* Able to build trustful relationships in C-level of End Customer and SI
* Excellent communication and presentation Skills
* Results driven with proven track record
* Innovative and out of the box thinker
* Entrepreneurial and proactive, able to work across functions, business units and countries
* Strong experience in developing new accounts (End Customer / SI) and solution selling
* Excellent verbal and written communication in English and German or French (professional level proficiency is a key requirement)
* Extensive travel throughout Europe required (approximately 60%)
