Our client is an innovative Biopharma, with ongoing developments and commercialised therapies aimed at transforming treatments for a range of Cardiovascular conditions.
To continue future trajectory and evolving needs for latter stage development programs across Europe in Phase 2 and Phase 3, our client is seeking an innovative, motivated and self-leading industry experienced Medical Affairs MD – To work in an above country Senior / Lead Medical Liaison and R&D functioning operative function, based in Germany.
This will be a highly autonomous and self-leading role. Working fully remote based and travelling through Germany and to the associated aligned countries as required.
Travel to be expected to circa – 70%.
Additional countries of responsibility include - France, Poland and UK.
Associated experience sought includes :
* Launch builds / planning / preparations and post launch management
* Associated clinical development experience and study site set up and ongoing site engagements
* Experience working in Innovative Biotech / Biopharma and smaller build groups – Highly beneficial
* Rare / Orphan Disease portfolio’s – Involvements in builds to launch and commercialisation – Highly beneficial
* Proven credentials working nationally in Germany or above country – Regional EU / DACH levels
* Strong self-leading attributes and highly collaborative approach
* Working knowledge of relative country assigned / EU regulatory requirements
* Ability to Identify potential principal investigators and clinical research sites for ongoing Phase II and III clinical studies
* Project management of ongoing clinical trials at study sites in Germany and aligned countries, working in close collaboration with relative internal departments. Including - Site identification, evaluation and training, recruitment, and participation at Investigator’s Meetings
* Build and maintain relationships with key associated Thought Leaders / Subject Matter Experts and other healthcare professionals
* Experience of involvements working across Phase II / III clinical trials, conducting Site Initiation Visits and ideally also, Pre Study Site Visits – Highly beneficial
* Clinical and / or therapeutic experience in Cardiology is highly desired, with additional consideration for experience working in either – Immunology or Rheumatology indications
* Experience working with biologic immunotherapies - Beneficial
Required : German national or EU Citizen with permanent residence in Germany
Industry Experience :
5+ Years Medical Affairs experience in industry
3+ Years at country level - Germany / above country or DACH region
Languages Required : German & English (written & spoken)
