Cloud engineer (m/f)

Experis Luxembourg is currently seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (m/f) to join and strengthen our team in Luxembourg.

Your responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage robust and scalable cloud solutions
Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize performance and ensure application availability
Automate provisioning, deployment, and management of cloud resources
Ensure data and system security by implementing best practices and actively monitoring threats
Develop backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity
Participate in cost analysis and cloud resource optimization
Monitor and manage cloud infrastructure performance and reliability
Identify and implement improvements to system performance, scalability, and efficiency

Your profile:

Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar role
Proficiency with cloud services: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Knowledge in virtualization with VMware, a previous experience in a VMware Service Provider environment is an asset
Strong expertise in Linux or/and Windows systems
Have a basic understanding of SAN/NAS technologies
Strong automation skills with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalents
Deep understanding of cloud security concepts and best practices
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect
Excellent communication skills in English and in French
