Your tasks
* Coordination of the laboratory, including co-supervision of PhD students and medical doctoral candidates, preparation of ethics applications, organization of data management, and the establishment and operation of the neuromodulation laboratories
* Planning, conducting, and evaluating independent scientific research projects focusing on noninvasive brain stimulation techniques, multimodal neuroimaging, and their combined application
* Translational investigation of these methods in neurological model disorders, particularly in Parkinson's disease and in stroke patients
* Further development of existing research approaches and exploration of innovative research areas
* Publication of research findings in high-impact international journals
* Presentation of research findings at national and international conferences
* Conceptualization and drafting of grant applications, as well as actively soliciting external funding
* Collaboration in teaching (4 LVS)
Your profile
Required qualifications:
* Completed scientific university studies (Diploma (Uni)/Master/State examination) and a Ph.D. in the field of neuroscience, medicine, psychology, neuroengineering, or a related field
* Proven expertise in the application of non-invasive brain stimulation techniques
* Experience in analyzing neuroimaging data (particularly fMRI and EEG)
* Programming skills, preferably in MATLAB, Python, and/or R
* Relevant scientific publications in peer-reviewed international journals
* Proficiency in spoken and written English
Preferred qualifications:
* Experience in conducting proof-of-concept studies in patient cohorts
* Experience in interacting with patients and clinical personnel
* Previous experience in team leadership and management
* Good conversational German skills
