This position in the Computer Security and Privacy group led by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Delphine Reinhardt offers an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to pursue a doctoral degree in an interdisciplinary research environment.
Your profile
* A very good M.Sc. degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, robotics, or a closely related discipline,
* Strong programming and software development skills, ideally with experience in multi-agent frameworks or distributed systems,
* Experience in designing and conducting simulations and experiments, including empirical evaluation of agent behaviors and system performance.
* Solid background in one or more of the following areas: privacy and security, multi-agent coordination, machine learning, distributed systems, human-AI collaboration, or interactive system design,
* Ability to conduct independent scientific research, along with strong commitment, team orientation, and communication skills,
* A very good command of both English and German,
* Strong interest in pursuing a doctoral degree and contributing to high-impact research.
Your main responsibilities
* Conduct independent research on privacy in multi-agent systems, focusing, for example, on identifying emerging privacy threats, designing novel privacy-preserving mechanisms for agent communication and collaboration, or developing human-centered approaches to ensure trustworthy multi-agent interactions,
* Publishing and presenting the obtained scientific results in international peer-reviewed conferences and/or journals,
* Supervising student assistants and student projects in this area,
* Active support in teaching activities according to §31 NHG and examinations.
