Responsibilities include:
* Development of embedded systems logic, control source code, and real-time processing framework.
* Specify, design, and implement functionality and behaviors of embedded subsystems within the development of laboratory devices.
* Perform functional and performance testing, and debugging of quality issues.
* Make optimization trade-offs to meet product requirements.
* Collaborate with manufacturing, applications, and quality engineering to improve the system from all perspectives.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
* Experience in developing embedded software for electrophoresis instrumentation.
* Understanding of involved HW- and as well as the interfaces to the software processing.
* Experience in embedded development in robotics, real-time controls, optical systems, or system connections.
* Experience in one or more programming languages (C++, C#, Java).
* Good written communication skills and the ability to work in direct parallel with a global team.
* Fluent in German with conversational understanding of English (B1).
