As Senior Demand Planning Manager, you own the operational and tactical Demand Planning at IronMaxx. You translate centrally defined forecasts into stable demand, inventory, and ordering decisions, lead your team with clarity and empathy, and act as a close sparring partner to the Head of Forecasting.
While the final ownership of the forecast lies with the Head of Forecasting, you ensure that forecasts work in reality — operationally sound, executable, and stable across the supply chain.

Demand Planning Ownership
* End-to-end responsibility for operational and tactical demand planning, derived from the central forecast.
* Ensuring high product availability, stable inventory levels, and efficient replenishment.
* Creation, maintenance, and validation of demand, inventory, and ordering plans.
* Continuous monitoring of stock levels, safety stock, lead times, and sales performance.
* Early identification of risks such as shortages, overstocks, or supply bottlenecks.
Buying & Supplier Coordination
* Close operational collaboration with Purchasing and suppliers regarding orders, quantities, and delivery schedules.
* Tracking delivery dates, production status, and proactive escalation of delays or risks.
* Ensuring a smooth and reliable flow of goods across the supply chain.
Sparring & Cross-functional Collaboration
* Acting as a key sparring partner to the Head of Forecasting, providing operational feedback and plausibility checks on forecasts.
* Close alignment with Sales, Customer Success, Logistics, Production, and Procurement.
* Translating strategic forecast assumptions into executable operational actions.
Leadership & Team Development
* Functional and disciplinary leadership of a Demand Planning / Buying team.
* Establishing clear structures, priorities, and responsibilities within the team.
* Coaching, mentoring, and developing team members in their professional growth.
* Fostering a collaborative, solution-oriented, and people-focused team culture.
Processes, Tools & Continuous Improvement
* Hands-on use and further development of demand planning and ERP tools (e.g. SAP Business One, Streamline).
* Identification and implementation of operational improvements in demand planning, replenishment, and buying processes.
* Contribution to scenario analyses, data evaluations, and cross-functional process optimization projects.
Your skillset - as strong as our protein
* Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a comparable qualification.
* Several years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or related fields, ideally with leadership responsibility.
* Strong analytical and structured mindset with high numerical affinity.
* Proven experience in leading teams (disciplinary and/or functional).
* Strong people skills: clear, empathetic, reliable, and collaborative
* Confident handling of ERP and demand planning tools (e.g. SAP, Streamline).
* Solution-oriented, hands-on, and execution-driven working style.
* Very good English skills, German skills are mandatory
