Responsibilities / Tasks
* Coordinates the team of Product Manag e rs in Business Unit LF F ; the PM are direct reports in the CoCs
* Needs to work in a Matri x organization and in a coordination function .
* Foster a c lose co - operation with R&D / Appl ication Management
* Contributes to the alignment of the strategic priorities and the product development
* Define s the technology development requirements for all LFF b usiness according to the PLM model and enhance s the communication
* D rive s the defined technology development and innovation of the core technologies of LFF based on market requirements and business needs
* Ensure s that technology development is supported by a short- term or long-term rationale – ty pically a business case incl. investment budget, business and project plan – and that the business case is developed by valid input from relevant business owners and other stakeholders
* Ensures that all Products are aligned with Digi / Sustainability and Service, according to current GEA design specs.
* Drives the A dd Better Labeling
* Align s with other Business Units and/or Divisions in terms of the development of new technologies and support s the respective application development s
* Support s the KPIs an d strategic targets given by the GEA Management while having a special focus on S ustainability
* Is a true champion for the GEA value s | objectives
Your Profile / Qualifications
* Masters’ Degree or PhD in relevant scientific field or Engineering or similar
* Extensive experience in similar functions in either engineering, process industry, equipment or food & beverage manufacturing incl. 5+ years in a leadership role
* Experience in technology management and /or Product Management
* Experience in matrix organizations, especially influencing and leading without direct authority
* Fluent in English (verbal ly and in writing ) and German (GER level B2 and above)
* P roject M anagement within R&D
* E nd-to-end process insight
* C ommercial understanding
* Open - minded to new models, ideas and innovation (change champion)
* Good people management skills
* Strong communication and presentation skills
