What you'll do
* Propose innovative logistics solutions and develop conceptual warehouse designs for production facilities and distribution centres
* Identify opportunities for cost reduction or process improvement, and create specifications for equipment, facility layouts or material handling systems
* You will evaluate the implementation of inventory tracking technologies, warehouse management systems (WMS), intelligent conveyor systems and automated guided vehicles (AGVs) to enhance the efficiency of plants or distribution centres
* Assess logistics support requirements, including facility details and staffing needs, and analyse the effectiveness of current or future logistical processes
* You will conduct detailed analyses such as time studies, zero-base analyses, rate analyses and flow-path evaluations, applying logistics modelling techniques to solve challenges
Who you are
* You posses a degree in Supply Chain Management or a related subject, as well as experience in optimising warehouse processes, designing warehouse layouts and supply chain processes
* A strong process orientation and analytical mindset, coupled with the ability to understand and examine issues across multiple business areas, enables the active identification of improvement potential
* You are well experienced in delivering a customer focused service with well-developed interpersonal communication and influencing skills
* Excellent communication skills ensure smooth collaboration with multiple departments at all levels
* You are willing to travel globally to our KNAUF locations
