Purpose
Collect relevant information from athletes to enable factories to create custom made apparel for all contracted athletes according to the business unit roll-out and asset activation plan and SM request. Be proactively involved during the product creation process for relevant product (feedback & testing on Apparel and Accessories/Hardware)
Key Accountabilities
* Help plan upcoming seasons and new product roll-outs with all involved entities (Sports Marketing, BU, Factory)
* Plan and manage the operational business including the maintenance of athletes’ data and feedback and the accomplishment of business projects
* Ability to travel extensively during peak periods. Able to visit athletes, Equipment Managers, Trainers, and Team Doctors periodically and/or annually to ensure that any and all adidas issues are addressed.
* Gain specific product feedback from the athlete. Discuss any product-related issues the athlete/coaches/medical staff may be experiencing.
* Serves as key contact to athlete next to Sports Marketing Manager for all product related issues (in solving problems on existing products and involving the athlete in the creating of new product) and act as point person for all other internal departments in communication with the athlete.
* Integration into Inline Creation Process (Briefing Input, Planning, Design Review, Milestone products, Testing)
* Gain general product feedback on competitor activities
* Help plan and manage athletes’ visits at the adidas HQ in close cooperation with FUTURE Sports Marketing and the respective BU
* Works closely with Sports Marketing, Design and Development teams apparel product for athletes and teams.
* Manages product process via internal systems.
Knowledge, Skills and Capabilities
* Knowledge of assigned sport categories. Performing the sport preferred.
* Knowledge of and experience in product development apparel modifications preferred.
* Knowledge of product creation, development and design process preferred.
* Knowledge of biomechanics of the foot and body and orthopaedics preferred.
* Ability to travel up to 25% of the time; extensive travel during peak periods and regularly visit adidas sponsored athletes & teams as needed

Qualifications
1. Four year college or university degree in Biomechanics o, Sport Medicine, Sports Engineering or Apparel Engineering preferred.
2. Three years relevant experience.
3. Strong sports experience/background in respective categories and passion for sport and products.
4. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for degree.
