Your tasks
7. Analyzing and evaluating aviation-specific metallic materials in all states - from forgings and castings to finished or assembled products.
8. Analyzing, evaluating, validating and releasing material conditions after any form of mechanical processing or special process treatment (e.g. welding, thermal treatment, surface treatment, non-destructive testing).
9. Introducing and monitoring quality processes, especially with regard to materials and special processes.
10. Support internal production and suppliers with regard to non-destructive testing, materials and special processes as well as introducing new processes and materials.
11. Supporting internal production in the application of special processes to aerospace components and advising the various specialist departments (production, development, purchasing) with regard to non-destructive testing, materials and special processes.
12. Creating work and test instructions to ensure production and test quality.
13. Developing manufacturing methods and processes
Your profile
14. Completed studies as a Master's/Diploma engineer in the field of materials engineering or with a focus on materials engineering.
15. Sound knowledge of materials processing, including the influence of machining and special processes on the surface structure.
16. Level III or experienced Level II certification (EN4179/NAS410) in the field of non-destructive testing for fluorescent penetrant testing and X-ray inspection is desirable.
17. Knowledge and experience in special processes such as welding, heat treatment, surface treatments.
18. Fluent written and spokenGerman and English.
19. Willingness to travel on business.
20. Organizational skills and a high level of personal responsibility.
