The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting out own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the finance department plays a key role. The unit takes care of all financial processes within the company. The responsibilities vary from preparation of product- and production sites decision to record and analyze all financial company transactions in SAP S4 Hana cloud.
How you will CELLebrate
* Steering and coordinating cost, result, liquidity, investment, and inventory targets for all cell projects. Ensuring the implementation of objectives within PowerCo Battery based on agreed premises
* Monitoring and creating the product cost comparison (actual vs. target), conducting root cause analysis, defining measures to achieve targets, and preparing profitability reports
* Goal-oriented management of the planning rounds for product results of PowerCo SE. Managing planning activities regarding scheduling, communication, and tracking of target objectives at project and product levels
* Coordinating evaluations of business plans regarding profitability. Ensuring financial evaluation of new products, lifecycle measures, and deriving action recommendations
* Determining cost targets for each cell project and PowerCo Battery plants. Defining and managing cost estimates and initial expenditures in cell projects
* Ensuring a continuous reporting system for product costs, product initiatives, and cross-location topics. Representing financial interests to product management and acting as an interface to the group and brands
* Personnel management
What you need for our CELLebration
* Having several years of experience leading a team in an international environment with a collaborative approach
* Successful completed university degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering
* Several years of professional experience in controlling, particularly in product controlling
* Collaborating in a team environment with competing priorities and high impact at all levels within the organization
* Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
