Your Internship Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As the Intern, Retail & Trade Marketing, EMEA, you will support the Senior Manager, Retail & Trade Marketing, EMEA in the execution of retail & trade marketing initiatives for the region. You will help develop and execute brand and seasonal campaigns and community events within established markets, as well as developing brand awareness and brand footprint in new markets.

The EMEA Marketing team is composed of a passionate group of professionals, all with an international background. The main objective of the department is to develop and execute consumer-facing regional and global strategies for the European markets. In addition to reporting to the Senior Manager, Retail & Trade Marketing, EMEA and working closely with the Retail & Trade Marketing team, you will be collaborating cross-functionally with team members from the Community, Experiences, Sports Marketing and Brand Comms teams.
If you were the Intern, Retail & Trade Marketing – EMEA now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
* Tactically executing year-round trade marketing initiatives (physical and digital) in the EMEA region
* Supporting the digital assets management (Box.Com), digital assets resourcing/adaption and creation of the B2B newsletter
* Supporting the planning and execution of community events at Key Accounts
* Monitoring and reporting the planned trade marketing initiatives in the seasonal report and quarterly newsletters
* Executing the product seeding strategy by allocating and shipping products to Key Accounts
* Supporting the execution of RBM projects, including planning and shipping coordination of new store elements and graphics for Shop-in-shop, Key Accounts and Brand Stores

* Developing unique marketing projects and strategies for the European market, both in epicenters and in mountain towns
* Executing trade marketing initiatives and community events
* Working collectively with different marketing departments, both on the operational and strategic side

* You are currently enrolled in a bachelor or master's program in marketing, business, fashion, or other fields relevant to the position, and must complete a mandatory internship as part of your degree
* You are eligible to live and work in Germany
* You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* You are determined, pro-active, attentive and energetic
* You take responsibility for your tasks and projects
* You can work effectively in a fast moving, multi-project environment
* You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
* You are passionate about community
* You have knowledge of the sports apparel industry, ideally also of Arc’teryx
* You are up to date with social/digital trends
* You are proficient in Microsoft Office
* You can communicate professionally in English, German is an asset
* Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
