Job Title: SAP Retail for Merchandise Management Consultant
Location: Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Retail for Merchandise Management Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP Retail and Merchandise Management, with a strong understanding of retail business processes and SAP solutions.
Responsibilities:
* Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP IS-Retail solutions.
* Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions.
* Identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements.
* Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements.
* Map client business requirements, processes, and objectives; develop necessary modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
* Design, customize, configure, and test the SAP IS-Retail module.
* Act as liaison with clients for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems.
* Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
* Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects.
* Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required.
* Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members.
Desired Skills & Experience:
* At least 8 years of work experience in relevant retail consulting services engagements or business environments, implementing or using Retail business processes and applications.
* Experience with SAP Retail in areas such as Planning, Retail Financial, Merchandising: Rebates, Pricing and Promotions, or Supply Chain.
* Ability to support all stages of a SAP Retail implementation project.
* Profound understanding of Retail business processes.
* Understanding of integration points with the SD, MM, and FI/CO modules.
* Fluently bilingual in German and English (spoken and written).
* Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects concurrently.
* Ability to work in a team.
* Flexibility and resourcefulness in a result-oriented environment.
* Ability to provide recommendations with regards to future business and solution opportunities.
* Open to travel (50-100%).
Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
* SAP certification in IS Retail is a plus.
