Responsibilities: Independent 3D CAD design of mechanical seals, including variant management for multiple product lines Creation of assemblies, components, and bills of materials using CAD (Solid Edge), PDM (Siemens TeamCenter), and ERP (SAP) Processing and coordination of design orders and standard solutions Performing seal-specific calculations and design tasks using existing tools Maintenance of design toolkits in coordination with Product Management Technical guidance and training of international colleagues Technical support for Sales, Service, and Reliability Engineering In the future: taking on increased technical leadership and supporting customer inquiries and complaints Qualifications: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field (alternatively: certified technician with relevant experience) Initial to several years of experience in design engineering or relevant academic projects Proficient in 3D CAD systems (ideally Solid Edge) Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, grinding) Ideally, knowledge of pump or sealing technology Structured, independent, and team-oriented working style Confident communication skills, flexibility and fluent English Willingness to travel internationally The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
