As an Institutional Sales Analyst/Associate in Asset Management you would join our Global Insurance Solutions sales team. As an industry expert team, we are covering the largest global insurance companies across all our asset classes and our analytical & advisory offerings. Your responsibilities will include closely collaborating with Client Advisors to provide exceptional service to our clients, coordinating client meetings and calls, and managing client relationships. You will also be tasked with sourcing and preparing responses for clients' ad-hoc questions and liaising with other local and global teams. Additionally, you will oversee tasks for working students, conduct market analyses which focuses primarily on topics such as regulation, SAA, and peer studies.
Job Responsibilities
1. Collaborate closely with Senior Client Advisors to deliver outstanding service to our clients
2. Grow into your own book of clients, grow the business, and retain existing clients
3. Help identify new business opportunities and upcoming product searches. Contribute to the overall sales strategy in the region
4. Partner with senior sales team to support the sales and business development process
5. Perform in-depth analysis of the competitor and product landscape
6. Keep close contact with product specialists and other teams around the world
7. Understand the regulatory and compliance framework (Solvency II), including Know Your Client (KYC) requirements
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
8. You have experience in a sales support position in the Asset Management sector, investment consultancy, investment banking or similar roles covering the German institutional market
9. You are familiar with the business model of insurance companies and the regulatory environment, including key frameworks such as Solvency II
10. You have a solid understanding of Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) across all asset classes, including private markets, and are familiar with Asset-Liability Management (ALM) principles
11. You are client and sales oriented, very high-quality standards
12. You have excellent communication skills (written/oral)
13. You demonstrate strong organization and interpersonal skills
14. You have ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
15. You demonstrate good know-how in MS-Office tools
16. You have to speak German and be fluent in English
