Financial Analyst Position
We are currently seeking a highly skilled financial analyst to join our team. This position is based in Luxembourg and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic finance department at the heart of a global organisation.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be involved in the end-to-end processing of revenue earned from pooled fund investments across multiple regions (UK, Europe, APAC, US), as well as managing rebate calculations and reporting for intermediaries worldwide.
Main Responsibilities
* Collect and validate gross fund fee reports from administrators, ensuring completeness and accurate accounting.
* Maintain financial data related to clients, products, and payment terms.
* Calculate and reconcile rebates, comparing client invoices with internal records.
* Perform monthly reconciliations of accrued vs. paid rebates at a detailed client level.
* Handle internal and external queries related to revenue and rebates.
* Produce operational statistics to support reporting and decision-making.
* Ensure procedures are up-to-date and escalate issues when necessary.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Product Development, and Client Services.
* Provide analytical support for pricing strategies and contract negotiations.
Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications & Skills
* Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Data Science.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar or relevant role.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent communication skills in English.
* Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
* Ability to improve and streamline processes.
* Quick learner, adaptable to new systems and workflows.
