Building Services Engineer Career Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled building services engineer to join our MEP/FM consulting team in Luxembourg.
About the Role:
* The successful candidate will support analysis and optimization of client projects in real estate and FM.
* They will assist in audits of technical building systems and FM services, focusing on HVAC, electrical systems, and BMS performance.
* Responsibilities include providing second opinions on technical solutions, exploring energy-saving measures, renewable integration, and sustainable design alternatives.
* The ideal candidate will contribute to the preparation, evaluation, and optimization of service specifications and contract documents.
* Gaining exposure to public procurement processes and contract law is also essential.
* The role requires supporting cost and service analyses to deliver efficient, high-quality technical solutions.
* Engaging with clients and stakeholders, assisting in presentations and negotiations is also a key aspect of this position.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or master's degree in building services engineering, Facility Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
* First professional experience (internship or full-time) in an engineering office, construction site, or FM environment is beneficial.
* Basic knowledge of BMS systems, AutoCAD/Revit, or CAFM tools is advantageous.
* Strong skills in MS Office; familiarity with energy modelling or technical analysis tools is beneficial.
* Excellent communication skills in English and German; French is highly valued for client interaction.
* Willingness to travel within the region (approx. 20–30%) is required.
* Proactive, eager to learn, and motivated to work in a collaborative, high-performance environment are essential qualities.
