We are partnering with a global engineering and energy group expanding their business development footprint in Germany's power sector. This is a high-impact role supporting both regional (Europe) and global teams, with a strong focus on gas and renewable energy (PV + BESS).
Wind energy experience is not relevant for this role.
???? Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage relationships with major players in the German power industry – OEMs, developers, TSOs, suppliers
* Identify and analyze energy-related policy shifts, infrastructure trends, and commercial opportunities
* Represent the company in both public and private sector discussions
* Deliver actionable market insights to senior leadership
* Build pipelines and pursue tenders, partnerships, and JV opportunities
* Act as a communication bridge between local operations and regional/global HQ
* Ensure strict alignment with compliance and quality principles
✅ Requirements:
* Bachelor's or higher in Electrical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, International Business, or similar
* Min. 7-10 years of experience in the German power sector (gas and/or renewables – PV + BESS preferred)
* Fluent in German and English
* Proven track record of developing power projects (CCPP, PV, BESS)
* Skilled in client management, strategic sales, and project execution
* Strong MS Office proficiency
* Legally authorized to live and work in Germany
⭐ Preferred Background:
* Experience with major OEMs (Siemens, GE, MHI, Ansaldo) or developers (RWE, Uniper, EnBW)
* Familiarity with electricity boards, TSOs, or battery suppliers (e.g., Samsung SDI)
* Strong industry network across Germany's energy ecosystem
