Director, Clinical Outsourcing - Growing, established biotechnology company - Remote working
Planet Pharma is currently working with an established biotechnology company who are growing and working towards a 2030 vision. To be a part of this, they are looking for someone to join the team as a Director, Clinical Outsourcing.
As Director, Clinical Outsourcing, you will be responsible for determining the sourcing strategy with the relevant stakeholders and to cover all sourcing needs related to drug development. You will also be responsible for:
* Leading and managing a small team in Sourcing Management
* Aligning franchise sourcing needs with overall sourcing strategy and pre-selected qualified vendors.
* Vendor selection leadership and contract preparation and negotiations
* Monitoring vendor marketing and sourcing environment to keep up-to-date on providers and industry trends.
This is a great role if you're looking to take the next step in your career and have more hands-on responsibility of developing and executing strategy. You will also get full ownership of management of a small team of managers to support you in executing the aligned strategy.
For this position our client is looking for someone who has strong experience working in clinical outsourcing. You must also have:
* A strategic mindset and ability to think creatively and outside the box
* Strong people management experience
* Good project management and organisational skills with great attention to details
This position can be fully remote anywhere in Belgium, Switzerland or Germany. Some travel to the offices in Belgium may be required on an ad hoc basis depending on business needs.
