Your Tasks
* You are responsible for developing, implementing, and operationalizing scalable, production-grade data pipelines for the ingestion, cleaning, transformation, and structuring of large-scale clinical and biomaterial datasets, including but not limited to genomics, proteomics, imaging, and histology data
* You develop scalable pipelines to standardize, harmonize, and integrate clinical data using established common data models, ontologies, and controlled vocabularies to ensure interoperability and analytical consistency across datasets
* You conduct innovative and translational research aimed at identifying novel biomarkers for disease diagnosis, prognosis, patient stratification, and therapeutic response
* You lead the development of predictive and prescriptive machine learning algorithms to support clinical decision‑making, optimise treatment pathways, and improve patient‑level outcome prediction
* You translate machine learning prototypes and research concepts into scalable, robust, and commercially viable solutions in close collaboration with product, engineering, clinical, and commercial stakeholders
* You work closely with wet‑lab biologists, bioinformaticians, clinicians, and clinical researchers to design experiments, define data standards, interpret results, and translate computational findings into clinically actionable insights
* You communicate complex data behaviours, methodological constraints, and analytical insights clearly and effectively to a wide range of stakeholders, thereby influencing strategic decisions in R&D, translational science, and product development
* You ensure the scientific rigor, technical robustness, and reproducibility of all computational analyses while adhering to data governance, cybersecurity, privacy regulations, and compliance requirements in the handling of sensitive clinical and biomedical datasets

Your Profile
* You hold a university degree or a Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline
* You bring solid experience in applying modern machine learning methods to complex biological and clinical datasets
* You possess expert‑level proficiency in Python as well as extensive experience with common machine learning and deep learning frameworks
* You have a deep understanding of statistical methods and the theoretical foundations of machine learning
* Ideally, you can demonstrate a strong scientific publication record
* Ideally, you have experience working with bioinformatics databases, tools, and data formats, as well as with clinical trial and biomaterial‑related datasets
* You ideally bring knowledge of drug discovery, development processes, or personalised medicine
* Ideally, you have experience working in regulated environments and possess a strong understanding of data privacy and data security principles
