As our company grows and expands its manufacturing footprint, the volume and strategic importance of events will increase, offering key opportunities to elevate brand visibility and strengthen awareness among customers, policymakers, media, and other stakeholders in local markets. As Europe Events Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping impactful event experiences. Reporting to the lead for External Communications & Media Relations in Europe and as a member of the Communications and Government Relations (CGR) team, you will lead the regional events function with creativity, precision, and purpose—translating our business goals into engagements that inspire action, shape perception, and drive growth. How you´ll make an impact Define and execute a comprehensive events strategy for Europe aligned with business priorities, brand positioning, and thought leadership ambitions. Lead planning and execution of key strategic events, including trade shows, customer summits, investor forums, and leadership gatherings—ensuring consistency, innovation, and impact. Develop scalable event concepts adaptable across countries and scenarios (e.g., site inaugurations, product launches). Provide guidance to local teams and take direct ownership when needed. Partner with business units, marketing, and sales to align messaging, objectives, and KPIs for each event. Enhance visibility of European leadership through curated event opportunities and speaker placements. Oversee selection, negotiation, and management of agencies, production partners, and venues to ensure best-in-class execution. Drive innovation in event formats, technologies, and engagement strategies—both physical and digital. Manage regional event budgets with transparency and deliver clear ROI reporting. Your background Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 10 years leading large-scale, global B2B event programs in corporate, agency, or industry settings—preferably in energy, technology, or infrastructure sectors. Ability to think long-term while delivering flawlessly on complex programs. Proven success working with senior executives and cross-functional teams. Excellent verbal and written communication, with a talent for storytelling. Experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets and analyzing ROI. Skilled in delivering events across diverse geographies with cultural sensitivity. Fluency in English required; additional European languages are a strong plus.
