Your Role:
As Finance Director, you will be responsible for the structured expansion and ongoing management of the entire accounting and tax framework of the company. Your focus will be on HGB-compliant accounting, accurate financial statements, tax reporting, and financial and tax strategic topics.
Experience in tax advisory or auditing is highly desirable.
You will ensure financial compliance and actively contribute to the transformation and professionalization of the finance function in a dynamic, PE-driven environment.
Your Responsibilities:
* Full responsibility for financial accounting including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
* Ensuring proper accounting and bookkeeping practices in line with GoB and HGB
* Tax management of the corporate group in cooperation with external advisors (particularly for tax groups, transfer pricing, restructurings)
* Implementation of uniform accounting and valuation guidelines (Group Accounting Manual)
* Development of an integrated financial structure: consolidation, general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, fixed asset accounting
* Support with tax matters in the context of transactions (post-merger integration, legal structuring)
* Contribution to the digitalization of core processes
* Professional and disciplinary leadership of the accounting team
Your Profile
* Degree in business administration with a focus on accounting, tax, or auditing
* Several years of experience in accounting/tax, ideally with practical experience in tax consulting or auditing
* Strong knowledge of HGB, confidence in financial statement preparation, and experience with commercial and tax-specific issues
* Familiarity with tax requirements in mid-sized corporate structures (e.g., holding models, permanent establishments, tax groups)
* Experience with ERP systems (preferably MS Dynamics / U)
* Analytical, detail-oriented, and reliable with a high standard for accuracy and traceability
* Fluent German & Good command of English for collaboration with the private equity investor
