In the Performance Materials Division, we develop innovative plastics and foams for all kinds of applications. Whether it is for cars, buildings or sports goods - we always look for the ideal material solution. To do this, we work closely with our customers: from production and logistics to research and sales, all the way to component testing, design consulting and simulation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The SCM unit oversees the entire order-to-cash process and handles sales and production planning, including demand planning for raw materials. Our primary objective is to ensure the delivery of our products to our customers while optimizing inventory through efficient production planning processes.
1. In your new position you will provide strong leadership and guidance for the Supply Chain Management team and ensure alignment with our Business Management.
2. In collaboration with Product Management, Sales, Operations, and Controlling you will develop and optimize operational supply chain processes. Together you will reduce complexity and optimize the transport network and warehousing setup.
3. You will be responsible of our site logistics, including warehousing and onsite processes.
4. To ensure an optimal supply chain, you will monitor and improve performance by setting and tracking KPIs, service levels and other metrics.
QUALIFICATIONS
5. degree in business administration or a comparable qualification with further qualification in the relevant business area
6. at least five years of professional experience, ideally in the industrial environment of supply chain and production processes
7. experience in leading larger teams
8. expertise in project management and as well as business fluency in both German and English
9. demonstrated knowledge in SAP technology (APO, BW, R/3) is an advantage
