Data Quality Expert

To ensure the accuracy and trustworthiness of our data, we are seeking a skilled Data Quality Expert to join our team. In this critical role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor, improve and maintain data health while leveraging modern tools and automation.

* You will develop and implement data quality solutions to ensure reliable, well-monitored data pipelines.
* Monitoring, detecting and alerting on data issues will be your primary focus, proactively identifying anomalies, inconsistencies and missing information.
* Closely working with data teams, you will optimize data pipelines and troubleshoot performance or quality concerns.
* You will define key data health metrics and maintain comprehensive documentation for transparency and traceability.
* Leveraging automation and AI-driven tools where beneficial will enhance data monitoring and anomaly detection.

* University degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or equivalent.
* At least 5 years of experience as a data engineer with strong understanding of data engineering concepts, data pipelines and cloud data platforms.
* Experience with data quality tools (e.g. OpenMetaData, Monte Carlo Great Expectations) or equivalent monitoring solutions.
* Proficient in SQL and Python. Experience in Node.js is a plus.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to proactively detect and resolve data issues.
* High level of engagement and initiative.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
