Your Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert tax advice to business units in various jurisdictions, addressing general business tax queries.
* Ensure tax compliance for corporate income tax and related tax obligations in relation to business units in different regions.
* Review quarterly income tax provisions and deferred taxes under local GAAP and IFRS.
* Maintain an overview and report on key tax performance indicators, tax cash flow, tax compliance status, and tax risks.
* Support the Senior Vice President of International Tax in Luxembourg with respect to diversified tax projects, including preparing tax memos for internal and external documentation of significant transactions.
* Provide assistance in all tax-related matters during mergers, acquisitions, and divestments.
* Collaborate with group tax, regional finance teams, legal, treasury, and external partners.
* Negotiate relationships with key tax authorities.
* Handle queries from tax authorities and manage corporate income tax audits and controversies.
* Monitor developments in tax legislation across various jurisdictions.
* E nsure compliance with local tax regulations, including Pillar II, DAC 6, and transfer pricing.
Your Team:
You will be part of a global team focused on managing various tax matters for companies located in different regions.
Your Profile:
* University degree with a tax specialization or similar qualification.
* A minimum of 5 years of international income tax experience with a global consulting firm, major law firm, and/or in a multinational corporation.
* Strong analytical and project management skills.
* Fluent in English; French and German language are an advantage.
* Excellent IT skills and willingness to develop those in respect of tax returns and tax reporting.
* Able to work independently and proactively while being a team player in the organization's international tax team.
* Able to manage multiple tasks in parallel against deadlines.
* Strategic, forward-thinking mindset; able to balance detail orientation with big-picture vision.
