We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer (m/f/x) to join our Sales Engineering Team at our HQ in Tutzing, Germany. This hybrid role requires 2‑3 days on site per week with the remaining days remote. Position Overview In this role you will own the technical aspects of the sales cycle, from discovery and demos to RFIs and workshops, converting customer input into a technical win. We are expanding into the French market and require expertise in data integration and process automation solutions. You’ll Get To Take Ownership Of Preparing and presenting product demonstrations and sales proposals for Lobster Data Platform. Converting qualified leads into paying customers by negotiating offers, securing contracts, and ensuring necessary paperwork. Coordinating cross‑department customer hand‑offs for smooth implementation. Developing strong relationships with existing customers and upselling appropriate subscriptions. Collaborating with marketing, technical support, and consultants to ensure customer satisfaction throughout lifecycle. Engaging partners to win new customers and expand existing businesses. Maintaining data hygiene in HubSpot and updating account information. We’d Love To Meet Someone With Profound experience selling SaaS solutions or managed services, ideally in data integration or process automation. Strong ability to understand customers’ data management and integration challenges and propose relevant solutions. Willingness to call customers, question the status quo, negotiate conditions, and discover better solutions. Accountability for metrics such as ACV and accurate forecasting. Outstanding communication and presentation skills in German (C1+) and solid English skills. You Can Look Forward To Modern offices in Germany and the Netherlands.
