As Junior Expansion Manager, you’ll be on the front lines of scaling a global B2B marketplace: opening new regions, building partnerships, and driving momentum in a $3 trillion market. About the role As Junior Expansion Manager, you will unlock new markets and build strong local partnerships. You’ll identify and sign partners, support them in closing retail deals, and ensure smooth pilot operations - directly contributing to smatch’s growth. Key Responsibilities: Drive growth and large revenue deals Research and map local partner and retailer ecosystems Drive outreach, qualification calls, and partner onboarding Negotiate and close collaboration agreements Support Jobbers in building and managing their retailer pipelines Coordinate with Operations and Finance for smooth delivery About you First experience (0 - 2 years) in business development, or expansion (e.g. internship or working-student role) Willingness to travel and spend time with partners around the globe Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or comparable practical experience Strong analytical and commercial thinking (margin, AOV, pricing) Excellent English skills; other languages are a strong plus - especially French, Italian, Portuguese, Greek, Arabic, Rumanian, Polish, Slovene and Slovak Confident user of Google Workspace and Excel/Sheets Structured communicator with ownership and persistence Nice to have: Experience in marketplaces, fashion, or wholesale environments Familiarity with Incoterms or factoring What’s in it for you True impact: If you are motivated by contributing to a better future of our planet, join our mission and drive both ecological and business impact.
