Stellenbeschreibung

Primary Function of Position:

The Commercial Learning Manager will manage projects and training initiatives, create and deliver content, lead programs and workshops as well as develop new training curricula to support strategic initiatives in an effort to improve the knowledge and skills of our commercial employees. The Commercial Learning Manager collaborates with colleagues in many departments including Global Sales Enablement, Field Sales, Sales Management, Clinical/Product Education, Marketing and other cross-functional leaders to diagnose gaps in order to create, execute and lead training program initiatives to address the needs of the Intuitive Commercial Employees.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Leadership and Program Management

1. Manage projects, training initiatives, and new product commercialization efforts
2. Collaborate with Commercial Management Team and cross-functional partners to align training programs with sales strategy
3. Assess sales team competencies and develop programs to address gaps
4. Mentor and coach Commercial Learning Trainers on best practices

Technical Training

5. Maintain expert-level certification on da Vinci Surgical Systems, Instruments, and Advanced Technology
6. Educate commercial employees on technical aspects and value propositions of da Vinci products

Clinical Training

7. Develop expertise in key surgical specialties (general, colorectal, gynecologic, thoracic, and urology)
8. Train commercial employees on relevant clinical procedures and da Vinci clinical value propositions

Sales Training

9. Deliver ISI Clinical Sales Process and Capital Sales Process presentations and workshops
10. Conduct field rides to diagnose training needs and provide coaching

Training Program Development

11. Create and manage curricula, agendas, and materials for technical, clinical, and sales training
12. Leverage various training formats (instructor-led, self-led, distance learning) to maximize impact
13. Measure sales effectiveness of training programs and develop comprehensive analysis reports

Qualifikationen

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

14. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
15. Master’s Degree or equivalent training experience a plus
16. 5+ years of Sales and/or Sales Management experience, preferably in medical device field
17. 2+ years of Corporate Training, Field Training or Training Management experience
18. Ambition and strong work ethic
19. Ability to excel in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
20. Ability to organize and work under strict time deadlines, while producing quality deliverables
21. Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
22. Strong organizational and prioritization skills
23. Excellent presentation, oral, and written communication skills
24. Proficiency in MS office
25. Ability to travel for up to 20%
26. Fluency in English and German
