Retail Development Coordinator (m/f/d)

About the role
As our Retail Development Coordinator (m/f/d), you will assist matters related to shop-fit and store openings in the Village. You will collaborate closely with Brands and internal teams, contributing to activities such as shop-fit orientation, brand communications, information gathering and planning, coordination with internal stakeholders, management of external partners, and documentation support.
Key responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role will include some or all the following:
* Coordinate fit-out process for new openings and re-merchandising/re-fit initiatives for both existing and upcoming stores, including temporary retail spaces
* Liaise with internal departments—including Leasing, Retail, Operations, and Legal—on shop-fit related matters
* Collate feedback from internal management regarding shop-fit proposals
* Ensure that works are executed by Brands in accordance with Value Retail internal guidelines and building regulations
* Prepare photomontages and architectural plan sketches for internal case studies
* Organize construction works by Value Retail and create time schedules
* Assist managing internal and Brand related sustainability projects
* Assist, manage and implement new systems and procedures for the shop-fit process and improve those already existing
* Monitor shop-fit quality to achieve standards of excellence
* Manage flow of information between local departments and external consultants, including appointments, plan submissions, timing, and billing
* Assist with monitoring and tracking of on-going development construction
* Update internal plans and ensure asset information is consistently maintained and kept up-to-date following the completion of each project
* Co-ordinate and complete the required internal approval documents for approval, presentations, trackers
* Ensure all administrative tasks related to Retail Development are completed, and compile and maintain documentation to keep all files regularly updated and organized.
* Send opening announcements for new store/reopenings
* Coordinate unit handover / handback processes with tenants
About You
We are looking for an experienced individual who can display the following skills:
* Degree in Architecture / Interior Design / Building Management / Construction Studies along with experience in project management
* Experience in the construction or architecture industry with sound knowledge of technical and legal matters
* Computer literate and high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Photoshop and 3D visualisation software (SketchUp or alternative)
* Able to work well with all levels across the business and customers with a creative and open minded capability to adapt to a fast pace environment
* A good communicator
* Ability to prioritise your work to meet tight and multiple deadlines
* Ability to both work as a team and work independently with minimal supervision
* Excellent organization skills and able to work under pressure
* Fluent in English and German, any other language could be beneficial
