With a strong footprint in Germany and revenues exceeding€250 million in the region, the business serves thousands of customers across the industrial and manufacturing sectors.The company is undergoing a significant transformation and is seeking adynamic, hands-on Head of Salesto drive new business growth and revitalise conversion performance.Role OverviewTitle : Sales Director (Germany)Location : Frankfurt, Germany (office-based)Reports to : Regional Managing DirectorTeam : 5–6 direct reports (Sales Managers), full sales organisation of 70 FTEKey ResponsibilitiesLead and develop the national sales teamDrive new business growth across Germany, with a focus on SME and mid-market clients .Implement strategies to improve sales conversion rates and shorten the sales cycle.Oversee the full sales funnel, from first contact to signed contract.Collaborate with senior leadership on go-to-market strategies and long-term growth plans.Report directly to the Regional Managing Director with full visibility on performance metrics.Candidate ProfileNative German speaker or fluent German speaker.Proven experience in hunter-style, fast-paced B2B sales environments .Strong background in leading and motivating sales teams to exceed new business targets.Familiarity with first-contact-to-conversion sales models.Background in recurring revenue, rental, or outsourced service industries strongly preferred (e.g., workwear/textiles, facility management, rental services, fleet/leasing, industrial services).Track record of delivering growth in challenging or transitional business environments.
