Essential Targets and Tasks
Provide high-level strategic consulting support to the European Management
Drive critical projects related to business transformation, growth initiatives, and operational excellence Board
Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring alignment with global corporate strategy while addressing regional challenges
Serve as a bridge between global strategy, regional execution, and local business units, ensuring consistency, transparency, and impact
Lead complex, cross-functional strategic projects from concept to implementation (e.g., market entry, footprint optimization, cost and margin improvement, restructuring initiatives)
Structure ambiguous business problems, define hypotheses, and translate strategy into executable roadmaps
Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitive landscape, customer requirements (OEMs), and internal performance metrics
Develop fact-based, actionable recommendations and present them to senior leadership and management boards
Act as sparring partner to senior leaders and project sponsors, challenging assumptions and driving decision-making
Ensure disciplined project governance, risk management and progress tracking
Deliver measurable and sustainable impact on profitability, efficiency, resilience, and growth targets
Qualifications
Master degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred
5 - 8 years of experience in management consulting (strategy / operations / transformation) or corporate strategy within the automotive industry (Tier 1 or Tier 2); OEM exposure is a plus
Proven experience in leading complex projects and influencing senior stakeholders without formal authority; advanced proficiency in financial modelling, business cases, and data-driven decision-making
project leadership experience mandatory
business fluent language skills in German and English; additional European languages are a strong advantage
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear management messages
Stakeholder management at executive level
High level of autonomy, resilience, and ability to perform in a fast-paced, international, and sometimes ambiguous environment
Strategic thinking and strong business acumen
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Structured problem-solving and hypothesis-driven approach
High adaptability, resilience, and execution focus
Willingness to travel within Europe and occasionally globally
