We are currently looking for a highly motivated Head of Accounting Adtran Networks SE (M/F/D) to join our Accounting team in Meiningen or Munich. 1. Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual statements under IFRS/European GAAP and US GAAP; coordinate group consolidation
2. Operational Accounting: Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, intercompany reconciliations, payroll accounting, and related provisions
3. Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to all regulations, tax requirements, and SOX standards; strengthen internal control systems
4. US Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for finance matters with the US parent company
5. Audit Management: Manage statutory and internal audits, working closely with auditors
6. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the international accounting team
7. Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiencies, support ERP (SAP) projects
8. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Legal, HR, Operations, and Corporate Finance
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* Professional accounting certification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent is required
* Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 8 years in a management or leadership role within an international or multinational company
* Expertise in IFRS/European GAAP and US GAAP, with SOX experience
* Strong knowledge of European tax and statutory requirements
* Fluency in German and English; additional languages a plus
* Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel
* Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
