Strategic Pricing Manager (all genders)
Job Description
In this role, you have the opportunity to own and shape strategic pricing for the Monitoring business end to end. You will define pricing strategy, governance, analytics, and execution across the portfolio to drive profitable growth, improve margin performance, and enable better commercial decision‑making. Acting as a trusted business partner to commercial and leadership teams, you will translate customer value into price, drive discipline in decisions, and embed scalable, best‑practice pricing ways of working.
Your job:
1. Own and develop the pricing strategy across product lines, markets, segments, account types, and channels
2. Translate business strategy into clear price architectures, guardrails, price corridors/floors, approval thresholds, and escalation paths
3. Define price positioning based on customer value, clinical and economic outcomes, competitive dynamics, and growth objectives
4. Support pricing decisions for new products, software, services, and lifecycle offerings from concept through launch and optimization
5. Co‑own pricing governance, including exception handling, approval workflows, and decision documentation
6. Ensure accurate and consistent management of list prices, discounts, customer‑specific pricing, annual price updates, and price changes
7. Monitor compliance with pricing policies, approval rules, and commercial guardrails, maintaining an auditable pricing decision trail
8. Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and leadership on complex deals, tenders, and strategic customer opportunities
9. Build scenario models around price, volume, mix, margin, and contract terms to support negotiations and deal decisions
10. Shape proposals and commercial packages that clearly articulate value while protecting profitability
11. Lead pricing analytics by developing dashboards, reports, and insights on margin, price realization, leakage, and performance drivers
12. Translate data into actionable recommendations for weekly, monthly, and executive business reviews
13. Lead pricing programs and continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing processes, tools, reporting, and operating models
14. Standardize pricing methodologies, playbooks, training, and decision routines across equipment, services, spare parts, and third‑party products
15. Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders in a matrix organization, influencing without formal authority
What you should bring:
16. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interrogate pricing, sales, and competitive data
17. Ability to simplify complexity and clearly communicate pricing logic and recommendations
18. Mature stakeholder management and proven experience aligning cross‑functional teams
19. Structured, hypothesis‑driven problem‑solving skills and solid financial intuition
20. High level of self‑direction and comfort managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
21. 3–5+ years of experience in pricing, finance, analytics, commercial operations, or product management
22. Exposure to pricing models, price‑volume analysis, or profitability optimization
23. Experience working cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product teams
24. Curious, proactive, and commercially minded mindset, comfortable challenging assumptions with data
25. Detail‑oriented approach with the ability to step back and assess broader strategic impact
26. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a comparable discipline)
