IT Security Expert (m/f/d)

Your tasks
* You will continuously operate, maintain, and develop security processes and methods and actively support the establishment of new processes in close coordination with all relevant stakeholders.
* You will perform gap analyses, protection requirement assessments, and risk analyses from an IT security perspective for IT systems, platforms, and processes.
* You will assist in the creation and maintenance of IT security concepts.
* You will support digitization and platform projects as well as the evaluation and introduction of new AI use cases from an IT security perspective.
* You will advise on projects and tenders relating to IT security issues.
* You will advise specialist and IT departments on IT security issues in a manner appropriate to the target audience and derive concrete, implementable measures from this.
* You will work closely with the IT security manager, provide support in governance, committee and coordination issues, and actively participate in strategic decisions.
Your profile
* You have a degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable technical education.
* You have several years of professional experience in the IT security field, ideally as an in-house consultant, IT security consultant, or IT security-related architect.
* Ideally, you already have recognized IT security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO/IEC 27001 Foundation, or comparable).
* You have project management experience and have already taken on responsibility in projects or subprojects.
* You can communicate complex security requirements in a way that is appropriate for the target audience and act in an advisory, engaging, and solution-oriented manner.
* You work in a structured, independent, and reliable manner and maintain an overview even when dealing with parallel issues.
* You have very good written and spoken German skills (at least C1 level).
