The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable dealing with large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, providing regular financial reporting, also need to handle basic accounting tasks as backup to accountants if needed.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Managing whole process of month/quarter/year-end closings.
2. VAT/ Intrastat /EC sales materials preparation and returns filing.
3. Leading all daily accounting operations: AP/AR, credit control, bank and account reconciliations, invoicing, BACS payments, Payroll management etc.
4. Implement finance SOPs and internal controls to streamline reporting and
improve cash position.
5.Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting KPI reports, analyzing and assessing the financial position of the company.
6. Leading the team to corporate with external audits.
7. Supporting commercial and operational teams with financial insights and reports.
8. Maintaining good communication with UK finance and HQ finance, ad-hoc tasks assigned by the HQ finance.
9. Prefer experience with multiple financial systems and familiarity with system operations. Sage system experience is preferred. Experience in new system setup and old-to-new system switching is desirable.
