Your new job includes
We are establishing a new legal entity in Istanbul (Büyükçekmece District) to serve as a logistics hub for the region. As People & Culture and Administrative Affairs Supervisor (m/f/d), you will report directly to the Managing Director and act as the central point of contact for all people-related topics as well as on-site administrative and organizational matters.
You will ensure smooth daily operations, support managers across the full employee lifecycle, and contribute to local compliance and indirect procurement activities.
In particular, your responsibilities are structured around three key focus areas:
People & Culture
* Act as the primary HR contact for managers across the full employee lifecycle, including end-to-end ownership of local recruitment activities, onboarding, offboarding and compliance with local labor law and internal policies
* Provide accurate input to the external payroll company and make employee records preserved accurately
* Coordinate local HR operations and training initiatives, including on-site support for training sessions led by GH Headquarters
Administrative Affairs
* Oversee all office-related and administrative matters to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations
* Manage external service providers and contracts (e.g. cleaning, security, utilities)
* Take responsibility for office infrastructure, health & safety measures, emergency procedures, and procurement of office supplies
Indirect Purchasing
* Manage the procurement of non-production goods and services, including supplier coordination as well as contract and price negotiations to ensure cost efficiency
* Oversee purchasing operations and budget control, including purchase order processing, delivery tracking, spend monitoring, and the identification of cost-saving opportunities
Preferred Profile
* A university degree in Business Administration or a comparable field
* At least 5 years of professional experience in related areas, ideally combined with exposure to administrative operations and indirect purchasing.
* Experience in procurement activities as well as in managing and coordinating external vendors
* Good knowledge of HR administrative processes and a general understanding of local labor related procedures
* Confident handling of MS Office andHi experience with HR systems; ERP solutions (e.g., SAP) is an advantage
* Strong conceptual skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, combined with excellent stakeholder management skills, problem-solving capabilities, and a proactive, service-oriented mindset.
* Full professional proficiency in English and Turkish
