Position Summary: Valbin Corporation is seeking a conference linguist for a potential contract supporting the NATO Security Assistance and Training for Ukraine (NSTAU) events.
In this role you will deliver on-site interpretation and translation services during conferences, briefings, and other engagements.
This role requires flexibility and readiness to perform on short notice as a part of an 8-person team.

Based in the Washington, D.C.
Metropolitan Area, Valbin has an established and on-going partnership with the US Government through its GSA Schedule and the Valbin Mission Readiness Support Center.
As the cornerstone of Valbin's strength, Mission Readiness Support provides government agencies and service members with translation and interpretation support, role players, battlefield immersions, and cultural awareness training.
Valbin’s efforts ensure that the United States and NATO Allies receive the best possible training support.
1. **Position contingent upon contract award** Requirements: Fluency in English and Ukrainian with excellent verbal communication skills.
At least 2 years of experience in conference or diplomatic interpretation settings.
Demonstrated ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Prior support to NATO, government, or military institutions highly desirable.
Current NATO SECRET security clearance or ability to obtain one within 8 months.
Availability for short-notice shifts in Wiesbaden, Germany.
Main Responsibilities: Provide consecutive or liaison interpretation during NSATU-hosted events and bilateral/multilateral meetings.
Translate event materials, agendas, and logistical information before and during conferences.
Operate in varied environments, including high-noise, restricted-access, or multilingual settings.
Accurately convey complex military, political, and operational content between English and Ukrainian.
Adhere to schedules and special logistical requirements defined in each Purchase Order.
Ensure compliance with NATO security protocols and confidentiality standards.
