What You'll Be Doing:
* Component Design:
Actively participate in the design, layout, and testing of radar hardware components, including
RF, Microwave, and Millimeter-Wave
circuits.
* Sub-System Development:
Contribute to the full lifecycle development of key hardware components (e.g.,
Transmitter/Receivers, Antenna Elements, T/R Modules, and RF PCBs
).
* Collaboration:
Work closely with the Systems and Digital Signal Processing teams to define hardware interfaces and ensure seamless integration of the entire radar system architecture.
* Testing & Validation:
Conduct hands-on testing and troubleshooting using specialized equipment, including
Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL)
, environmental, and performance testing.
* Documentation:
Assist in creating and maintaining detailed technical specifications, design documents, and test procedures.
Qualifications
* Experience in RF/Microwave Hardware Design
for radar, communications, or sensing systems (required experience level will be tailored to the candidate's seniority).
* Knowledge of
Antenna Theory, RF Circuit Design, and high-speed analog/digital circuit design
.
* A
Background in Electrical Engineering
or a related technical field (B.S. or M.S. required).
* Familiarity with industry-standard RF simulation tools (e.g.,
CST, Keysight ADS, HFSS
) and lab equipment (
Spectrum Analyzers, VNAs
).
* Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills
applied to physical hardware and integration challenges.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to
work collaboratively
