Meet The Team Youu2019ll join a dynamic sales team entirely focused on Healthcare customers in the German market. You will work closely with Solution Engineers, Sales Specialists, and broader Cisco resources, all united by a compelling vision: to accelerate the digital transformation of the German Healthcare system, making it more efficient, universally accessible, and capable of delivering the highest quality of patient care through secure, innovative, and interconnected technology solutions. We strive to drive solution adoption and deliver lasting value to our customers. You will report to the Healthcare Sales Manager within the Public Sector organization. Your Impact As an Account Executive for Healthcare, you will be a strategic sales leader responsible for driving revenue growth and market share within the German healthcare market. You will cultivate and manage key customer relationships in healthcare organisations, understand their strategic business objectives, and position Ciscou2019s comprehensive portfolio u2013 including networking, security, cloud, automation, and collaboration u2013 to address their unique challenges. Your focus will be on navigating complex public sector procurement processes, demonstrating the business value of Cisco solutions in improving patient outcomes, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with stringent healthcare regulations. You will lead the sales cycle, develop account strategies, and collaborate with technical and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless pre-sales, sales, and post-sales support. You will deliver integrated solutions to bring impactful digital transformation for healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities Partner Ecosystem Development & Management : Cultivate and expand a robust ecosystem of integration partners, collaborating to develop strategic frame contracts and joint go-to-market initiatives to broaden Cisco's reach and solution offerings within the public sector healthcare market. Value-Based Selling: Articulate the compelling business value and return on investment (ROI) of Ciscou2019s solutions, aligning them with customer strategic initiatives such as improved patient care, data security, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Market & Competitive Intelligence: Maintain deep knowledge of the German public sector healthcare market, including funding mechanisms, procurement processes, regulatory landscape, and competitive offerings, to inform sales strategies. Forecasting & Reporting: Accurately forecast sales opportunities and maintain a robust sales pipeline, providing regular updates to management. Healthcare Specifics: Understand the critical operational and clinical requirements of healthcare providers, including Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR), Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), telemedicine platforms, and medical device integration, to position relevant Cisco solutions. Minimum Qualifications Successful experience in a direct sales or account management role, preferably selling technology solutions to the public sector or healthcare industry with a proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales quotas. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders. General understanding of the public sector procurement processes and sales cycles in Germany. Fluency in German and English: excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex business value propositions. Ability to work strategically and collaboratively within a complex matrix organization. Preferred Qualifications Bacheloru2019s or Masteru2019s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Health Economics or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). Specific experience selling networking, security, collaboration, or cloud solutions to the German healthcare sector. Familiarity with healthcare IT standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, local German healthcare data protection laws). General knowledge of Ciscou2019s portfolio and strategic direction. Strong consultative sales skills, with a focus on understanding customer business needs and translating them into technology solutions. Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities, with a proactive approach to pipeline management. Why Cisco?
